The RCOD’s  enjoyed superb racing over the weekend where 5 boats participated in the Royal Burnham YC Spring Bank Holiday regatta including a first time out this season for Corsair. Gamely dealing with a lot of water ingress as a result of the hull planks yet to fully seal up the crew managed to start the wrong way in the first race. X in front of WH is not a kiss!

Cormorant won the Town Course race followed by Corinna. Sunday bought a fresher wind and great sailing in the sunshine. Corinna won the upper river race in spite of touching rocks on Black Point. Coralie fought through to a well sailed second. Our second race took us down the river with a nice windward/leeward into the Roach. Coyphee and Cormorant tussled for first place with Cormorant just winning through rounding Branklet. Cormorant won the 3 race series for the Messer Cup on countback from Corinna. Congratulations!
