The RCOD class held a belated and fun prize giving at the club last Sunday. Some 30 people turned up for an excellent carvery lunch to hear a variety of new awards from top female helm, to best performing crews during the 2018 season, to a new traveller award, presented to David Shapiro for flying in from San Diego, to attend the bash. Next year we are introducing a Lifetime Achievement Award and nominations are already being received; some early money is being placed on one of the fleet’s grandfathers, Tony Cash.  Steady progress is being made to get the boats ready for the new season with Cormorant expected to be the first to go in and most are gearing up for the May Bank Holiday.
