The Mailspeed Cadet Trophy – Eastern Region 12 Oct 2007

Loni and I started well by finishing 4th at Waldringfield, at Burnham with Aiofe crewing we finished 9th. At Stone, back with Loni again, despite winning the first race, we finished 11th. By the time we got to Fisher’s Green, Loni and I were top of the leader board but James Hayward and Tim Carter from Waldringfield were catching up fast, while Theo Bull from Stone was only one point behind, followed closely by George Somers. We finished 4th and completed the series on 28 points, winning the Trophy.

So thanks to Dave Somers and Mailspeed Marine for providing the Trophy and vouchers for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, Loni and Aiofe who were both brilliant, plus all the other competitors, Race Officers, organisers and helpers – it’s been great !
