While the sun is out the same can’t always be said of the wind, as our visitors from the EAORA fleet and Haven Ports Yacht Club found out when they visited on Saturday – a shortened course due to a lack of wind meant they had a frustrating day, although it did tend to keep the fleet quite close together meaning a win for Katla, one of the smaller boats in the fleet.

Club Racing saw some match racing for the Dragons, even if there was a disagreement around their start time, and some close races in the other classes after the sea breeze kicked in.  Sunday dawned fickle and largely windless, but seven lasers took to the water for what turned out to be a couple of interesting races with luck and strategy playing a part at different times.
