It was the Marlow Ropes Womens Match Racing Nationals on the weekend of 12th September and Team Athena came 2nd overall.

Scarlett writes…

“Team Athena won both round robins and our semi final. The final was first to two wins, so it came down to the third race where we were leading by quite a bit before the wind died and a massive right hand shift came in and we lost it.

All of us girls are absolutely gutted (lots of tears lol and we still can’t quite believe our luck) but it was a a great weekend’s racing, shame about the ending.”
