The Snow Ball 12 Dec 2015
Saturday night sparkled as a capacity crowd of 120+ enjoyed an evening of alcohol fuelled cocktails, tasty food and partying. Black Tie was the order, with the Club dining room dressed in a winter wonderland theme that took the breath away.
The night kicked off with a range of Corinthian Cocktails to get everyone in the mood, then it was upstairs to enjoy another superb meal in a beautiful setting. Rear Commodore Sailing Phil Aspinall delivered a quick prize-giving for the Dinghy Snowglobe Trophy that had been wrapped up that morning, won by Malcolm Hutchings & Ian Simons in their Fireball.
The evening was then ramped up a few gears as Dirty Wafer performed a terrific set that got the downstairs bar rocking.
The ball was an amazing evening and huge thanks must go to all the organisers for their vision and hard work, in particularly Rowena Jones & Suzanne Glenton who invested so much time in creating the spectacular winter wonderland, with every detail ensuring it looked magnificent.
