The First Meeting of the Season 16 Mar 2009

The Otters are back! Saturday 14th March was the Start of the Season Lunch and Otters and Parents turned out in force. Judy Waples, the Otter President, made the journey south to meet everybody and Alex Willsher, Commodore and her Vice Commodore, Emma Tavinor, made everybody welcome.

It was a chance to meet the trainers and hear the plans for the new season. For most of the Otters it was a chance to catch up with old friends but for some it was all very new and exciting. The Pond Group met each other for the first time and are looking forward to their first trip to the pond to get started.

Saturday 21st March is a training day for the optimists and the Cadets and the first race in the Spring Series will be on Saturday the 28th.
