With two squibs and the same Rcods up for racing on Sunday the scene was set, with a perfect 10/12 knot westerly.

The hitch to no 11 had more shifts than ever, and that proved the order of the day  on every beat.

The decision of north or south shore from Horse shoal to Pinto again challenged the mind, crossing the tide twice and sailing a longer route as opposed to the straight line, which paid, well if you weren’t there you’ll never know,  River sailing at its best.

We did have winners and losers at the finish, but just being out on the river beat everything, certainly racing off the same start proved again to be right.

Hopefully more boats will join in the fun on Sunday at 10.25 am!!
