Simon Fisher makes fifth appearance in Volvo Ocean Race 9 Nov 2017
Congratulations to Simon Fisher – SiFi – a former Otter Commodore who is making his fifth appearance in the Volvo Ocean Race. He was on winning boat Abu Dhabi in 2014-15 and individually won the B & G Navigators’ Award for two legs. This time he is Navigator on Vestas 11th Hour Racing, the winner of the 1st Leg from Alicante to Lisbon.
The fleet are now on Leg 2 from Lisbon to Cape Town. After charging through large, drenching seas the VO65 One Designs are approaching the Doldrums…
