Please see photos below from the AGM in December.  The Commodore awarded the Dwillla (Drusilla) Mortimore Memorial Award for Endeavour in line with member voting to The WOW Team, emphasising that this was to everyone involved in enabling the Friday sessions to be such a success, from the 707 preparation to the boat managers, the helms and not to forget the participants!  Last year also saw the award for the first time of the Derek Corless Memorial Trophy.  The Race Officers’ choice of someone who had notably been seen to act exceptionally in the year either when sailing or by act of kindness or enerosity.  Martin Makey received the award in recognition of his generosity in loaning his RCOD (a 90 year old boat) to an Otter one day to race in Burnham Week.
