Conditions were less than easy with light winds and strong tides making the course very difficult to negotiate. However, six races were completed over two days and racing was always tight.
James Hutton-Penman won the event and became the RS Tera Sport National Champion with a total of eleven points, beating fellow Burnham sailor Joshua Aldridge (2nd) by 4 points. Flynn Davies sailed really well on the second day to to finish 6th overall and Zac finished all the races and competed hard (final placing still to be determined).
In the Pro fleet, Hamish finished on equal points in second place with Harry Gozzett (Optimist National Squad sailor) but ended up third on count back – Hamish lead the final race from start to finish beating Harry Gozzett and the previous Tera National Champion.
There was a team prize awarded to the sailing club team of three with the lowest points. Burnham Sailing Club was second with Joshua, Flynn and Jamie Aldridge , who came 15th, competing for them.
They would have won had James sailed under the joint flag of the Otters and the BSC. Tthe team cup went to the Isle of Man Team.
