Development Work Stage Three 26 Mar 2013

Work has continued apace since the last report. A major rewiring of computers and other systems was ongoing last week together with the work on the upstairs bar, with the new counter tops stored carefully to avoid damage before installation.

The lift arrived on Monday 25th March and the installation was looking good by the next morning and was seen to be going up-and-down which is always a good sign for a lift!

The glass walls for the office are now in place which create an immediate sense of light and airiness.

However, there will be nowhere for the rubbish to hide and Members will no longer be allowed to dump their junk while they consider what to do with it!

Everyone is very focussed, very aware that the deadlines are looming as the Easter Weekend approaches. However, although the bulk of the installation will be finished, there are several finishing touches that will need to be completed over the next few weeks to achieve the final plans.
