The rum punch welcomed the guests to the evening, the steel band setting the mood, with the stronger rhythms reserved for later entertainment.
James, the Chef, turned up the heat under the spices and gave the 92 guests the energy to dance into the small hours.
“And what of Tradition?” I hear you cry. Ah! Tradition! The more traditionally minded enjoyed the tinsel, the turkey and the trimmings at lunch on Sunday the 17th after a truly traditional AGM.
