The new fleet on the block, the Blazes, had 10 out over the weekend which dropped away to 3 diehards for the whole week… perhaps because some were still aching from the Blaze Open. The winner with 4 straight wins was Howie Enkel (sailing Malcolm Hutchings’ boat) although the first win was indeed Malcolm himself. Additionally, Nic Tolhurst won the pursuit race as the Blazes secured all the podium positions, despite a couple of capsizes in the Roach.
