The Pusser’s Rum Trophy is now proudly displayed on Mick King’s sideboard after Baldrick’s victory in the Old Gaffers’ East Coast Race. Mick didn’t say whether there was any rum to go with it!

There were 42 entries including Richard Matthew’s Farlie Kismet, lots of smacks and other assorted gaff rig boats and the race was over 12 nautical miles.
The race was obviously not without incident; we are invited to ask him about the anchor falling off the deck at the gybe mark and stopping him dead in the water when we next meet!
