The Royal Corinthian One Design is a unique class for a unique club. Out of the 16 of the wooden boats that are still around, 11 still race regularly at the club. It remains at the heart of the Royal Corinthian, not only bearing its name, but is a reminder of the beauty of traditional racing before the advent of fibreglass. The boats, which have been lovingly looked after by multiple owners over the past 80 plus years since they were built, are still as competitive as ever with very close racing. The class owns one boat which is charters to encourage new owners into the fleet and another is being restored. Come along and give it a try.
