The wind was only a little stronger on the Sunday but the positions improved in the first race of the day with a third place for Andy Moss, 5th for David Hall, 6th for Nigel Cole with Rob Shephard in 9th place.
The final race saw our only win of the weekend with Andy Moss and Jonathan Hughes taking line honours with Ian Gray taking 9th place so we were we were well and truly beaten by a better team over the weekend with RCYC boats taking the last five places!

The racing scene may have been mundane but the rest of the weekend was full of incident, ranging from roadworks, a forgotten passport, missed take-off slot, an unscheduled thunderstorm, the possibility that Hamburg airport might close, lost luggage and finally, a missing room key so that Nigel was without a bed…
The ladies hired Boris Jonson bikes to ride round the perimeter of the lake – they were all very impressed by an area that was basically in the centre of the city.
