Always liked the idea of sailing but not yet given it a go? Well why not join us this year for a FREE taster session, to ‘Discover Sailing’?

In conjunction with the Royal Yachting Association’s (RYA) ‘Discover Sailing’ initiative,  we are offering you to the chance to join us out on the water for free, with a variety of boats including 707s and Squibs, alongside paddle boards. Plus, take a look inside the club itself to get a real feel for what the water scene lifestyle is like.

No experience required and all ages welcome!

We supply all the equipment, so just make sure you dress up suitably warm – layers are always recommended even in the hot weather, as the breeze on the water can be surprising. Suncream too and sensible flat shoes or trainers with good grip.

Our members and staff will be on hand from your arrival at the front door, we are all very friendly so feel free to ask us anything! The experience will last around one hour from kitting up to de-brief, but you are welcome to stay longer and enjoy lunch or a drink from our extensive menu. If you sit on the balcony, you can enjoy watching others take their turn on the water and imagine what life would be like if you joined a yacht club like ours.

Due to previous year’s popularity, we have decided to run two ‘Discover Sailing’ events in 2023. The first being on Saturday 13th May and the second on Saturday 17th June. Both events will run from 9am to 1pm.
