Mingming arrives! 22 Jun 2008

Roger Taylor and Mingming arrrived 1064BST 21st June in harbour at Praia da Vitoria. Roger is reported to be in splendid form and Mingming is immaculate.

The last part of his voyage was really frustrating; after a really good passage, the very strong SW headwinds resulted in the last 300 miles taking him a week.

However, a windshift to the north enabled him to enter harbour without difficulty. He was just about to anchor when a dinghy came out to tow him into the marina itself where he was greeted by the welcoming committee and the party began!
