Over sixty members and guests gathered for the first of this winter’s Cruiser Lunches, which was preceded by a talk by Dick Holness who is co-author of the ‘East Coast Pilot’ publication.The presentation explained the origins of the publication, the people involved and the sources of the valuable pilotage notes. The publication is supported by updates available on their website.
Some time was also spent considering the changes that have affected cruising on the east coast over the last sixty years, the main one being the development of marinas.
The next Cruiser Lunch will be on Sunday 13th January 2019, all members and their guests are welcome.
