The Cruiser Section came together at the Club on Saturday for their informal Fitting Out Lunch. The meeting was well attended with about 30 cruiser members, either lunching or popping in for a chat. We all very much enjoyed seeing our friends in the setting of a full clubhouse with lots of activity on the water. The conversation was all about the coming season, boat preparation was one of the main topics. Interesting news was exchanged about some members changing their boats or the places where they keep them, and we all look forward to hearing updates from those members who will have a new dimension to their cruising this season. Our first organised event on the water will be the Estuary Race on 29th April.
