Our usual lunch venue at North Fambridge, the Ferry Boat Inn, is closed for re-furbishment so we will be meeting at the home of the West Wick Yacht Club, the River Breeze Café & Bar within The North Fambridge Yacht Haven (Marina).
We aim to be seated at 12:45 for lunch.
Those arriving at North Fambridge by Sailing or Motor Cruiser should aim to arrive at the Yacht Station river pontoon between 11:45 and 12:30. Transport for the short journey to the marina will be available. Alternatively visitors can moor in the Marina (VHF Ch.80 . Tel. 01621 740370).
For those arriving by tarmac there is ample free car parking by the River Breeze Café.
Between 14:00 and 15:00 hrs at the same venue there is scheduled to be a representative from the RNLI giving advice and instruction on checking and servicing your life jackets. Colin Stracey of Premier Sailing will also be giving a quick refresher on Life Rafts.
Mooring at the Pontoon in the river and the RNLI presentation are free but donations to the RNLI are welcome. Mooring in the Marina will require the normal visitor fee to be paid.
Time, weather and the number of boats attending will determine if there is to be an event on the water for the afternoon return journey to Burnham. A Bistro is available at RCYC early evening if required.
