707s in Burnham Week 9 Sep 2008
There were eleven 707s out at the weekends and five throughout the week. Notable is that in the week there were only four adults between the five boats with the rest of the crews being Otters or ex-Otters home from university.

The class is showing that it is a natural development for our Otters.
John Lewis in Baby Beluga had three firsts over the Bank Holiday weekend with Paul Gray in Beaver Hunter and Phil Bennett in Blowfish on equal points for second.
The winner of the Mid Week points was Riotus helmed by Sam Pearson with four straight firsts, followed by Andy Prestwich in Pocket Battleship and Andy Wood-Hill in Black Sheep on equal points. It could have been so different if the flyer that Pocket Battleship took to the south shore from Outer Crouch in Thursday’s race had worked!
The final Saturday’s race was won by Beaver Hunter with Black Sheep second from Baby Beluga by six seconds, Pocket Battleship being the only boat over the line at the start in this very keen fleet.
