Dinghy Sailing is limited to one or two per boat and is suitable from all ages. our dinghy fleets has members aged just 6 to over 60! Shared challenges and the variability of the weather and sea can make dinghy sailing and racing a fascinating and rewarding recreational sport: physically, mentally and in terms of personal relationships with other crew members, competitors and organisers. We at the RCYC host many training events organised through the fleets themselves and just a few of the active boats we have at the club are Lasers, Oppies, Blaze and RS’s. To keep the dinghies on the water we run the Super Saturdays, a handicap race for the dinghy to take part in, fast, slow and Oppies.
